What is Bollywood Music?

Music is an art form that involves organised sounds and silence. You might have gone sometimes to tandoori restaurants and they got satellite TV playing a sort of musical videoclips, probably taken from Bollywood films, with duet (girl & boy) songs and choreography. May be you'd like to investigate the origin of this music, maybe some compilation of original soundtracks, not exactly "roots" but popular.

Such "questions" about the "artistic quality" of film songs are mostly from people who believe they are the cream of society because they listen to "only classical music" and don't like "light music".
