What is Bollywood Music?

Music is an art form that involves organised sounds and silence. It is expressed in terms of pitch (which includes melody and harmony), rhythm (which includes tempo and meter), and the quality of sound (which includes timbre, articulation, dynamics, and texture). You might have gone sometimes to tandoori restaurants and they got satellite TV playing a sort of musical videoclips, probably taken from Bollywood films, with duet (girl & boy) songs and choreography. May be you’d like to investigate the origin of this music, maybe some compilation of original soundtracks, not exactly “roots” but popular.
