Good As Intro to BollyWood – - – BUT!!!!!!!
Really Great intro to BollyWood though recently made. Reason why the Music is very incorporated into the story and events – celebrations, drinking weddings, etc.

Hooray for Bollywood
Being new to Bollywood films, I didn’t know what to expect.
After watching this film, I would wager that it probably is one of the best of this genre. Lots of fun!

GREAT film,but which DVD version to buy?
Devdas is a wonderful introduction to the world of Bollywood film.It’s a visual feast for any romanticist,a sort of Indian Romeo and Juliet.

POOR QUALITY MEDIUM
Unfortunately, this DVD is useless for use with HDTV 50 inches or more. I have a 50 inch TV and played this using a upconverting Bluray player. Picture quality is worthless.

Devdas is really, really sad. I don't just mean the title character, Devdas, but the entire film. It's beautifully shot and terrifically acted, but it's really, really sad.
